قَالَ وَثنا سَعِيدٌ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ أنا يُونُسُ وَحُمَيْدٌ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَوْصَى لِغَيْرِ ذِي قَرَابَتِهِ فَلِلَّذِينَ أَوْصَى لَهُمْ ثُلُثُ الثُّلُثِ وَلِقَرَابَتِهِ ثُلُثَا الثُّلُثِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَوْصَى لِغَيْرِ ذِي قَرَابَتِهِ فَلِلَّذِينَ أَوْصَى لَهُمْ ثُلُثُ الثُّلُثِ وَلِقَرَابَتِهِ ثُلُثَا الثُّلُثِ

Sa'id narrated to us: Hushaym informed us: Yunus and Humayd narrated from al-Hasan who said: Whoever makes a bequest to non-relatives, those he bequeathed to receive a third of the third, and his relatives receive two-thirds of the third.
