وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ثنا يَزِيدُ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ حَمَّادَ بْنَ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مِيرَاثِ الْمَجُوسِ فَقَالَ يَرِثُونَ بِأَحَدِ الْوَجْهَيْنِ الْوَجْهِ الَّذِي يَحِلُّ وَرُوِيَ هَذَا الْقَوْلُ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ وَمَكْحُولٍ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us with his chain from Hammad ibn Salamah who said: I asked Hammad ibn Abi Sulayman about the inheritance of Zoroastrians. He said: 'They inherit by one of the two angles - the one that is lawful.' This view was also reported from Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz, may Allah have mercy on him, and Makhul.
