وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْعَدْلُ أنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أنا يَزِيدُ أنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَشُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ كَانَ عُمَرُ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ ؓ يُوَرِّثَانِ الْأَرْحَامَ دُونَ الْمَوَالِي فَقُلْتُ لَهُ أَفَكَانَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ؟ فَقَالَ كَانَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ أَشَدَّهُمْ فِي ذَلِكَ

Abu Sa'id informed us: Abu Abdullah narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Nasr narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Bakkar narrated to us: Ibn Abi al-Zinad narrated from his father from Kharijah from his father Zayd regarding the shares of daughters with sons: For the male is the share of two females. This applies to the children and the grandchildren.
