وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ حَزْنِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ الْخَثْعَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا وَرَّثَ رَجُلًا وَابْنَهُ أَوْ أَخَوَيْنِ أُصِيبَا بِصِفِّينَ لَا يُدْرَى أَيُّهُمَا مَاتَ قَبْلَ الْآخَرِ فَوَرَّثَ بَعْضَهُمْ مِنْ بَعْضٍ كَذَا قَالَ وَنَحْنُ إِنَّمَا نَأْخُذُ بِالرِّوَايَةِ الْأُولَى
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us: Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us: al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Affan narrated to us: Mu'awiyah ibn Hisham narrated from Sufyan from Hazn ibn Bashir al-Khath'ami from his father: Ali gave inheritance to a man and his son, or two brothers, who were killed at Siffin and it was not known which died first - he gave them inheritance from each other. This is what was stated, but we follow the first narration.
