وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ ثنا يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ يُوسُفَ الزَّمِّيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةُ سَعْدِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ بِابْنَتَيْهَا مِنْ سَعْدٍ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَاتَانِ ابْنَتَا سَعْدِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ قُتِلَ أَبُوهُمَا مَعَكَ شَهِيدًا يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ وَإِنَّ عَمَّهُمَا أَخَذَ مَالَهُمَا اسْتِفَاءً وَلَمْ يَتْرُكْ لَهُمَا مَالًا وَلَا تُنْكَحَانِ إِلَّا وَلَهُمَا مَالٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْضِي اللهُ فِي ذَلِكَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ الْمِيرَاثَ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى عَمِّهِمَا فَدَعَاهُ فَقَالَ أَعْطِ ابْنَتَيْ سَعْدٍ الثُّلُثَيْنِ وَأَعْطِ أُمَّهُمَا الثُّمُنَ وَلَكَ مَا بَقِيَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu al-Hasan ibn Abdan informed us: Ahmad ibn Ubayd narrated to us: Muhammad ibn al-Fadl ibn Jabir narrated to us: Yahya ibn Yusuf al-Zammi narrated to us: Ubaydullah ibn Amr narrated to us from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil from Jabir ibn Abdullah who said: The wife of Sa'd ibn al-Rabi' came with her two daughters from Sa'd and said: O Messenger of Allah, these are the two daughters of Sa'd ibn al-Rabi'. Their father was killed with you as a martyr on the day of Uhud, and their uncle has taken all their wealth, leaving them nothing. They cannot be married without wealth. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Allah will judge in this matter. Then Allah revealed the verses of inheritance. He sent for their uncle and called him, saying: Give the two daughters of Sa'd two-thirds, give their mother one-eighth, and the remainder is yours.
