حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ يَأْتُونَ عَلَى أَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ يَكْتُبُونَ النَّاسَ عَلَى مَنَازِلِهِمْ جَاءَ فُلَانٌ مِنْ سَاعَةِ كَذَا قَالَ حَمَّادٌ أَظُنُّهُ قَالَ خَمْسَ مِرَارٍ جَاءَ فُلَانٌ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ وَجَاءَ فُلَانٌ فَأَدْرَكَ الصَّلَاةَ وَلَمْ يُدْرِكْ الْجُمُعَةَ أَوْ لَمْ يُدْرِكْ الْخُطْبَةَ.

Bahz told us: Hammad told us: 'Ali ibn Zayd informed us, from Aws ibn Khalid, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed on the day of Friday the angels come to the doors of the mosque, recording the people according to their order of arrival: 'So-and-so came at such an hour'" — Hammad said: I think he said five times — "'so-and-so came while the imam was delivering the sermon, and so-and-so came and caught the prayer but did not catch the Friday reward,' or 'did not catch the sermon.'"
