Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Sulayman, from Dhakwan, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever kills himself with a piece of iron, his iron will remain in his hand, and he will be stabbing himself with it in his belly in the fire of Hell, abiding therein eternally forever. And whoever throws himself down from a mountain and kills himself, he will be throwing himself down in the fire of Hell, abiding therein eternally forever."
