حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ وَيَزِيدُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَلَقَّوْا الْجَلَبَ فَمَنْ تَلَقَّى مِنْهُ شَيْئًا فَصَاحِبُهُ بِالْخِيَارِ إِذَا أَتَى السُّوقَ.

Isma'il and Yazid told us, they said: Hisham told us, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not go out to meet the caravan before it reaches the market; whoever meets it and buys something from it, its owner has the choice to cancel the sale once he reaches the market."
