حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ مُضَارِبِ بْنِ حَزْنٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَعْنِي لِأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ هَلْ سَمِعْتَ مِنْ خَلِيلِكَ شَيْئًا تُحَدِّثُنِيهِ قَالَ نَعَمْ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا عَدْوَى وَلَا هَامَةَ وَخَيْرُ الطِّيَرِ الْفَأْلُ وَالْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Isma'il told us: Sa'id al-Jurayri informed us, from Mudarib ibn Hazn, who said: I said to Abu Hurayrah: "Have you heard anything from your beloved friend that you could relate to me?" He said: "Yes, I heard him, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'There is no contagion, no ill-omened owl, and the best omen is a good word; and the evil eye is real.'"
