وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَبْدِي عِنْدَ ظَنِّهِ بِي وَأَنَا مَعَهُ إِذَا دَعَانِي فَإِنْ ذَكَرَنِي فِي نَفْسِهِ ذَكَرْتُهُ فِي نَفْسِي وَإِنْ ذَكَرَنِي فِي مَلَإٍ ذَكَرْتُهُ فِي مَلَإٍ خَيْرٍ مِنْهُمْ وَأَطْيَبَ وَإِنْ تَقَرَّبَ مِنِّي شِبْرًا تَقَرَّبْتُ مِنْهُ ذِرَاعًا وَإِنْ تَقَرَّبَ ذِرَاعًا تَقَرَّبْتُ بَاعًا وَإِنْ أَتَانِي يَمْشِي أَتَيْتُهُ هَرْوَلَةً.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
And with his chain, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said: "I am as My servant thinks of Me, and I am with him when he calls upon Me. If he remembers Me within himself, I remember him within Myself; and if he remembers Me in an assembly, I remember him in an assembly better than it and purer; and if he draws near to Me a hand's span, I draw near to him a forearm's length; and if he draws near to Me a forearm's length, I draw near to him a fathom's length; and if he comes to Me walking, I come to him running."
