Waki' and Abu Nu'aym told us, they said: Sufyan told us, from Sa'd ibn Ibrahim, from Umar ibn Abi Salamah, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The soul of the believer is held in suspense so long as he has debt upon him." Abd al-Rahman told us, from Sufyan, from Sa'd ibn Ibrahim, from Umar ibn Abi Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), without mentioning "from his father," similarly.
