حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَعْنَى عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ عَنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ مَا عَابَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَعَامًا قَطُّ كَانَ إِذَا اشْتَهَاهُ أَكَلَهُ وَإِذَا لَمْ يَشْتَهِهِ تَرَكَهُ.

Yahya and Abd al-Rahman told us — the meaning being the same — from Sufyan; Yahya said: Sulayman told me, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) never found fault with food; if he desired it he ate it, and if he did not desire it he left it."
