[Ahmad] said: Asbat told us, who said: al-A'mash told us, from Ibrahim, from Ibn Mas'ud, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said [something] — and al-A'mash also told us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), concerning His saying, Mighty and Majestic is He: {"and the recitation of dawn, indeed the recitation of dawn is witnessed"} — he said: "The angels of the night and the angels of the day attend it."
