حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عِمْرَانَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِثَلَاثٍ الْوَتْرِ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ وَصِيَامِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَالْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ.

Yahya narrated to us, from 'Imran Abu Bakr, who said: al-Hasan narrated to us, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: My close friend, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), instructed me with three things: performing the witr prayer before sleeping, fasting three days of every month, and bathing (ghusl) on Friday.
