حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ اللَّهُمَّ أَرْشِدْ الْأَئِمَّةَ وَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Waki' narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'The imam is a guarantor, and the caller to prayer (mu'adhdhin) is a trustee. O Allah, guide the imams rightly, and forgive the mu'adhdhins.'
