حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ مُعَيْقِيبٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدٍ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ لَمْ يُضْبَطْ إِسْنَادُهُ إِنَّمَا هُوَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدٍ الْعُتْوَارِيُّ وَهُوَ صَاحِبُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَبُو الْهَيْثَمِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ وَعَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَتَّخِذُ عِنْدَكَ عَهْدًا لَنْ تُخْلِفَنِيهِ فَإِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ فَأَيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ آذَيْتُهُ أَوْ شَتَمْتُهُ أَوْ لَعَنْتُهُ أَوْ جَلَدْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ زَكَاةً وَصَلَاةً وَقُرْبَةً تُقَرِّبُهُ بِهَا إِلَيْكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.

Yazid told us, he said: Muhammad informed us, from Ubaydullah ibn al-Mughirah ibn Mu'ayqib, from Amr ibn Sulayman ibn Abd — Abu Abd al-Rahman said: his chain of transmission was not precisely fixed; rather it is Sulayman ibn Amr ibn Abd al-Utwari, the companion of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri — Abu al-Haytham, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, and also from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah — both of them said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O Allah, I make with You a covenant which You will not break: I am only a human being, so whichever believer I harm, or curse, or revile, or whip, make that for him a purification, a means of prayer's blessing, and a means of nearness by which You bring him close to Yourself on the Day of Resurrection."
