حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ سَتَحْرِصُونَ عَلَى الْإِمَارَةِ وَسَتَصِيرُ نَدَامَةً وَحَسْرَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَبِئْسَتْ الْمُرْضِعَةُ وَنِعْمَتْ الْفَاطِمَةُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yazid ibn Harun told us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi'b informed us, from al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "You will surely be eager for [positions of] authority, but it will become a source of regret and grief on the Day of Resurrection. What an excellent wet-nurse it is [at first], and what an excellent weaner it is [in the end]!"
