حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يُشِيرُ بِأُصْبُعِهِ مِرَارًا وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ بِيَدِهِ مَا شَبِعَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَهْلُهُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ تِبَاعًا مِنْ خُبْزِ حِنْطَةٍ حَتَّى فَارَقَ الدُّنْيَا.

Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Kaysan, who said: Abu Hazim narrated to me, who said: I saw Abu Hurairah pointing with his finger repeatedly, saying: "By the One in Whose Hand is Abu Hurairah's soul, the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) and his family never ate their fill of wheat bread for three consecutive days until he departed this world."
