حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَيَعْجِزُ أَحَدُكُمْ إِذَا صَلَّى أَنْ يَتَقَدَّمَ أَوْ يَتَأَخَّرَ أَوْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ أَوْ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ.

Isma'il narrated to us, from Layth, from al-Hajjaj ibn Ubayd, from Ibrahim ibn Isma'il, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who said: "Is one of you unable, when he prays (a voluntary prayer), to move forward or backward, or to his right or to his left (for another prayer)?"
