حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الْخَفَّافُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْ كَانَ الْعِلْمُ بِالثُّرَيَّا لَتَنَاوَلَهُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَبْنَاءِ فَارِسَ.

Abd al-Wahhab al-Khaffaf narrated to us, he said: Awf narrated to us, from Shahr ibn Hawshab who said: Abu Hurayrah said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If knowledge were at the Pleiades, people from the sons of Persia would reach it."
