وَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَنْزِلُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ حِينَ يَمْضِي ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْأَوَّلُ فَيَقُولُ أَنَا الْمَلِكُ مَرَّتَيْنِ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَدْعُونِي فَأَسْتَجِيبَ مَنْ الَّذِي يَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيَهُ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ فَلَا يَزَالُ كَذَلِكَ حَتَّى يُضِيءَ الْفَجْرُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
And that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah the Almighty descends to the lowest heaven every night when the first third of the night passes and says: 'I am the King' - twice - 'Who is calling upon Me so that I may respond? Who is asking of Me so that I may give him? Who is seeking My forgiveness so that I may forgive him?' And He continues like this until the dawn breaks."
