حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْقُرَشِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اخْتَتَنَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَمَانِينَ سَنَةً بِالْقَدُومِ.

Qutaybah narrated to us, he said: al-Mughirah ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Qurashi narrated to us, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Ibrahim (Abraham, peace be upon him) was circumcised when he was eighty years old, using an adze (qadum)."
