حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ كُهَيْلٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بِمِنًى يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَقَاضَاهُ فَأَغْلَظَ لَهُ قَالَ فَهَمَّ بِهِ أَصْحَابُهُ فَقَالَ دَعُوهُ فَإِنَّ لِصَاحِبِ الْحَقِّ مَقَالًا قَالَ اشْتَرُوا لَهُ بَعِيرًا فَأَعْطُوهُ إِيَّاهُ قَالُوا لَا نَجِدُ إِلَّا سِنًّا أَفْضَلَ مِنْ سِنِّهِ قَالَ فَاشْتَرُوهُ فَأَعْطُوهُ إِيَّاهُ فَإِنَّ مِنْ خَيْرِكُمْ أَحْسَنَكُمْ قَضَاءً.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Affan narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Salamah ibn Kuhayl informed me, he said: I heard Abu Salamah ibn Abd al-Rahman at Mina narrating from Abu Hurayrah, that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to collect a debt and spoke harshly to him. His companions were about to harm the man, but he said: 'Leave him, for the creditor has the right to speak.' He said: 'Buy him a camel and give it to him.' They said: 'We can only find one of a better age than his.' He said: 'Buy it and give it to him, for the best among you are those who are best in repaying.'
