حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زِيَادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ وَكَانَ يَبْتَدِئُ حَدِيثَهُ بِأَنْ يَقُولَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الصَّادِقُ الْمَصْدُوقُ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ.

Affan narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Wahid, meaning Ibn Ziyad, narrated to us, he said: Asim ibn Kulayb narrated to us, he said: my father narrated to me, he said: I heard Abu Hurayrah saying - and he would begin his narration by saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said - Abu al-Qasim, the truthful, the believed, said: "Whoever deliberately lies about me, let him take his seat in the Fire."
