حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْ مُؤْمِنٍ يُشَاكُ بِشَوْكَةٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا يَحْتَسِبُهَا إِلَّا قُصِّرَ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.

'Ali ibn Ishaq narrated to us, he said: 'Ubaydullah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Abdullah ibn Mawhab informed us, he said: My uncle 'Ubaydullah ibn 'Abdullah ibn Mawhab narrated to me, he said: I heard Abu Hurayrah say: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "No believer is pricked by a thorn in this world, and he bears it patiently, except that his sins will be reduced by it on the Day of Resurrection."
