حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَرَآهُمْ عِزِينَ مُتَفَرِّقِينَ قَالَ فَغَضِبَ غَضَبًا شَدِيدًا مَا رَأَيْنَاهُ غَضِبَ غَضَبًا أَشَدَّ مِنْهُ قَالَ وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ رَجُلًا يَؤُمُّ النَّاسَ ثُمَّ أَتَتَبَّعَ هَؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ فِي دُورِهِمْ فَأُحَرِّقَهَا عَلَيْهِمْ وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَسْجِدَ صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came to the mosque and found them sitting in scattered groups. He became so angry, an anger more severe than we had ever seen. He said: "By Allah, I was about to order a man to lead the people in prayer, then go after those who stay behind from the prayer in their homes and burn them down upon them." And sometimes he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) entered the mosque at the time of 'Isha prayer.
