حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ فِتْيَانِي فَيَجْمَعُوا حَطَبًا ثُمَّ آمُرَ رَجُلًا يَؤُمُّ النَّاسَ ثُمَّ أُخَالِفُ إِلَى رِجَالٍ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ فَأُحَرِّقَ عَلَيْهِمْ بُيُوتَهُمْ وَايْمُ اللَّهِ لَوْ يَعْلَمُ أَحَدُهُمْ أَنَّ لَهُ بِشُهُودِهَا عَرْقًا سَمِينًا أَوْ مِرْمَاتَيْنِ لَشَهِدَهَا وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا فِيهَا لَأَتَوْهَا وَلَوْ حَبْوًا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'I was about to order my young men to gather firewood, then order a man to lead the people in prayer, then go to the men who stay behind from the prayer and burn their houses down upon them. By Allah, if one of them knew that he would find a meaty bone or two good pieces of meat (at the prayer), he would attend it. If they knew what is in it, they would come even if they had to crawl.'
