الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'While a man was walking on a road, he became very thirsty. He found a well and went down into it and drank. Then he came out, and there was a dog panting and eating mud from thirst. The man said: This dog is suffering from the same thirst I suffered from. So he went down into the well, filled his shoe with water, then held it in his mouth and climbed up, and gave the dog water to drink. Allah thanked him for that and forgave him.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, do we get reward for treating animals well?' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'In every creature with a moist liver (i.e., every living being) there is reward.'
