حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ خَلْفَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَهُوَ يَتَوَضَّأُ وَهُوَ يُمِرُّ الْوَضُوءَ إِلَى إِبْطِهِ فَقُلْتُ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ مَا هَذَا الْوُضُوءُ قَالَ يَا بَنِي فَرُّوخَ أَنْتُمْ هَاهُنَا لَوْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّكُمْ هَاهُنَا مَا تَوَضَّأْتُ هَذَا الْوُضُوءَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ خَلِيلِي يَقُولُ تَبْلُغُ الْحِلْيَةُ مِنْ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِلَى حَيْثُ يَبْلُغُ الْوُضُوءُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
I was behind Abu Hurayrah while he was making ablution, and he was extending the water to his armpit. I said: 'O Abu Hurayrah, what is this ablution?' He said: 'O sons of Farrukh, you are here? Had I known you were here, I would not have done this ablution. I heard my beloved (the Prophet) say: The adornment (of the believer in Paradise) will reach wherever the water of ablution reaches.'
