حَدَّثَنَا هَيْثَمٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ و حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يُجْمَعُ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِي صَعِيدٍ وَاحِدٍ ثُمَّ يَطْلُعُ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ ثُمَّ يُقَالُ أَلَا تَتَّبِعُ كُلُّ أُمَّةٍ مَا كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ فَيَتَمَثَّلُ لِصَاحِبِ الصَّلِيبِ صَلِيبُهُ وَلِصَاحِبِ الصُّوَرِ صُوَرُهُ وَلِصَاحِبِ النَّارِ نَارُهُ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ وَيَبْقَى الْمُسْلِمُونَ فَيَطْلُعُ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ فَيَقُولُ أَلَا تَتَّبِعُونَ النَّاسَ فَيَقُولُونَ نَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّنَا وَهَذَا مَكَانُنَا حَتَّى نَرَى رَبَّنَا وَهُوَ يَأْمُرُهُمْ وَيُثَبِّتُهُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَارَى ثُمَّ يَطْلُعُ فَيَقُولُ أَلَا تَتَّبِعُونَ النَّاسَ فَيَقُولُونَ نَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْكَ نَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّنَا وَهَذَا مَكَانُنَا حَتَّى نَرَى رَبَّنَا وَهُوَ يَأْمُرُهُمْ وَيُثَبِّتُهُمْ قَالُوا وَهَلْ نَرَاهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَهَلْ تُضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَةِ الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ قَالُوا لَا قَالَ فَإِنَّكُمْ لَا تُضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَتِهِ تِلْكَ السَّاعَةَ ثُمَّ يَتَوَارَى ثُمَّ يَطْلُعُ فَيُعَرِّفُهُمْ نَفْسَهُ أَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَيَقُولُ أَنَا رَبُّكُمْ اتَّبِعُونِي فَيَقُومُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ وَيُوضَعُ الصِّرَاطُ فَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِثْلُ جِيَادِ الْخَيْلِ وَالرِّكَابِ وَقَوْلُهُمْ عَلَيْهِ سَلِّمْ سَلِّمْ وَيَبْقَى أَهْلُ النَّارِ فَيُطْرَحُ مِنْهُمْ فِيهَا فَوْجٌ فَيُقَالُ هَلْ امْتَلَأْتِ وَتَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ مَزِيدٍ ثُمَّ يُطْرَحُ فِيهَا فَوْجٌ فَيُقَالُ هَلْ امْتَلَأْتِ وَتَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ مَزِيدٍ حَتَّى إِذَا أُوعِبُوا فِيهَا وَضَعَ الرَّحْمَنُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَدَمَهُ فِيهَا وَزَوَى بَعْضَهَا إِلَى بَعْضٍ ثُمَّ قَالَتْ قَطْ قَطْ قَطْ وَإِذَا صُيِّرَ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَأَهْلُ النَّارِ فِي النَّارِ أُتِيَ بِالْمَوْتِ مُلَبَّبًا فَيُوقَفُ عَلَى السُّورِ الَّذِي بَيْنَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَأَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ثُمَّ يُقَالُ يَا أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ فَيَطَّلِعُونَ خَائِفِينَ ثُمَّ يُقَالُ يَا أَهْلَ النَّارِ فَيَطَّلِعُونَ مُسْتَبْشِرِينَ يَرْجُونَ الشَّفَاعَةَ فَيُقَالُ لِأَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَلِأَهْلِ النَّارِ تَعْرِفُونَ هَذَا فَيَقُولُونَ هَؤُلَاءِ وَهَؤُلَاءِ قَدْ عَرَفْنَاهُ هُوَ الْمَوْتُ الَّذِي وُكِّلَ بِنَا فَيُضْجَعُ فَيُذْبَحُ ذَبْحًا عَلَى السُّورِ ثُمَّ يُقَالُ يَا أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ خُلُودٌ لَا مَوْتَ وَيَا أَهْلَ النَّارِ خُلُودٌ لَا مَوْتَ وَقَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَأُزْوِيَ بَعْضُهَا إِلَى بَعْضٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ قَطْ قَالَتْ قَطْ قَطْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The people will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection on one plain. Then the Lord of the Worlds will appear to them, and it will be said: Let every nation follow what it used to worship. So for the worshipper of the cross, his cross will be represented; for the worshipper of images, his images; and for the worshipper of fire, his fire. They will follow what they used to worship. The Muslims will remain. Then the Lord of the Worlds will appear to them and say: Will you not follow the people? They will say: We seek refuge in Allah from you! Allah is our Lord, and this is our place until we see our Lord - and He commands them and makes them firm. Then He will disappear and appear again, saying: Will you not follow the people? They will say: We seek refuge in Allah from you! Allah is our Lord, and this is our place until we see our Lord - and He commands them and makes them firm. They said: Will we see Him, O Messenger of Allah? He said: Do you have difficulty seeing the moon on the night it is full? They said: No. He said: Then you will have no difficulty seeing Him at that hour. Then He will disappear and appear again, and He will make Himself known to them, saying: I am your Lord, follow Me. So the Muslims will stand, and the Bridge (Sirat) will be set up. They will cross it like swift horses and racing camels, and their words upon it will be: Grant safety, grant safety. The people of the Fire will remain, and groups will be thrown in, and it will be said: Are you full? And it will say: Are there any more? Then another group will be thrown in, and it will be said: Are you full? And it will say: Are there any more? Until all are placed in it, and the Most Merciful the Almighty will place His foot in it, and it will shrink together and say: Enough, enough, enough! When the people of Paradise are in Paradise and the people of the Fire are in the Fire, Death will be brought wrapped up and placed on the wall between the people of the Fire and the people of Paradise. Then it will be said: O people of Paradise! And they will look out fearfully. Then it will be said: O people of the Fire! And they will look out hopefully, hoping for intercession. It will be said to the people of Paradise and the people of the Fire: Do you recognize this? Both groups will say: We know it; it is Death that was appointed over us. Then it will be laid down and slaughtered on the wall. Then it will be said: O people of Paradise, eternity with no death! And: O people of the Fire, eternity with no death!'
