حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا أَعْرِفَنَّ أَحَدًا مِنْكُمْ أَتَاهُ عَنِّي حَدِيثٌ وَهُوَ مُتَّكِئٌ فِي أَرِيكَتِهِ فَيَقُولُ اتْلُوا عَلَيَّ بِهِ قُرْآنًا مَا جَاءَكُمْ عَنِّي مِنْ خَيْرٍ قُلْتُهُ أَوْ لَمْ أَقُلْهُ فَأَنَا أَقُولُهُ وَمَا أَتَاكُمْ عَنِّي مِنْ شَرٍّ فَأَنَا لَا أَقُولُ الشَّرَّ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Let me not find one of you reclining on his couch when a hadith from me reaches him, and he says: Recite to me the Quran (to verify it). Whatever good comes to you from me, I said it or I did not say it, but I do say it. And whatever evil comes to you attributed to me, I do not say evil.'
