حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُجْمِرِ أَنَّهُ رَقِيَ إِلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْمَسْجِدِ وَهُوَ يَتَوَضَّأُ فَرَفَعَ فِي عَضُدَيْهِ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيَّ فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ أُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ هُمْ الْغُرُّ الْمُحَجَّلُونَ مِنْ آثَارِ الْوُضُوءِ فَمَنْ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يُطِيلَ غُرَّتَهُ فَلْيَفْعَلْ فَقَالَ نُعَيْمٌ لَا أَدْرِي قَوْلُهُ مَنْ اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ يُطِيلَ غُرَّتَهُ فَلْيَفْعَلْ مِنْ قَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ مِنْ قَوْلِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Nu'aym ibn Abdullah al-Mujmir said: "I went up to Abu Hurayrah on the roof of the mosque while he was performing ablution. He washed up his forearms, then turned to me and said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: Indeed my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection will be the ones with bright faces and bright hands and feet from the traces of ablution. So whoever among you is able to extend his brightness, let him do so.'" Nu'aym said: "I do not know whether the statement 'whoever is able to extend his brightness, let him do so' is from the Messenger of Allah or from Abu Hurayrah."
