حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ أَلَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يَأْخُذُ بِمَا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ كَلِمَةً أَوْ كَلِمَتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا أَوْ أَرْبَعًا أَوْ خَمْسًا فَيَجْعَلُهُنَّ فِي طَرَفِ رِدَائِهِ فَيَتَعَلَّمُهُنَّ وَيُعَلِّمُهُنَّ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقُلْتُ أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ فَابْسُطْ ثَوْبَكَ قَالَ فَبَسَطْتُ ثَوْبِي فَحَدَّثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ قَالَ ضُمَّ إِلَيْكَ فَضَمَمْتُ ثَوْبِي إِلَى صَدْرِي فَإِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ لَا أَكُونَ نَسِيتُ حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْهُ بَعْدُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Hurayrah said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: 'Is there not a man who will take what Allah has ordained - a word, or two words, or three, or four, or five - and put them in the edge of his garment, learn them and teach them?' Abu Hurayrah said: 'I said: I will, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Spread your garment.' So I spread my garment, and the Messenger of Allah spoke. Then he said: 'Gather it to yourself.' So I gathered my garment to my chest, and I hope that I have not forgotten any hadith I heard from him after that.'"
