حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُمَيَّةَ عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي جَدِّي سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ هَلَاكُ أُمَّتِي عَلَى يَدِ غِلْمَةٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ قَالَ مَرْوَانُ وَهُوَ مَعَنَا فِي الْحَلْقَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَلِيَ شَيْئًا فَلَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ غِلْمَةً قَالَ وَ أَمَا وَاللَّهِ لَوْ أَشَاءُ أَقُولُ بَنُو فُلَانٍ وَبَنُو فُلَانٍ لَفَعَلْتُ قَالَ فَقُمْتُ أَخْرُجُ أَنَا مَعَ أَبِي وَجَدِّي إِلَى مَرْوَانَ بَعْدَمَا مُلِّكُوا فَإِذَا هُمْ يُبَايِعُونَ الصِّبْيَانَ مِنْهُمْ وَمَنْ يُبَايِعُ لَهُ وَهُوَ فِي خِرْقَةٍ قَالَ لَنَا هَلْ عَسَى أَصْحَابُكُمْ هَؤُلَاءِ أَنْ يَكُونُوا الَّذِينَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَذْكُرُ أَنَّ هَذِهِ الْمُلُوكَ يُشْبِهُ بَعْضُهَا بَعْضًا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Hurayrah said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: 'The destruction of my Ummah will be at the hands of young boys from Quraysh.' Marwan, who was with us in the gathering before he held any position of authority, said: 'May the curse of Allah be upon them, young boys!' He said: 'By Allah, if I wished I could say the sons of so-and-so and the sons of so-and-so, I would do so.' He said: 'So I went out with my father and grandfather to Marwan after they had been given authority, and they were pledging allegiance to their young boys, including one who was still in swaddling clothes. He said to us: Perhaps these companions of yours are the ones I heard Abu Hurayrah mention, that these rulers resemble one another.'"
