حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، أَنَّ عَلِيًّا، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ جَلَدَ شَرَاحَةَ يَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ وَرَجَمَهَا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَقَالَ أَجْلِدُهَا بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَأَرْجُمُهَا بِسُنَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
It was narrated from ash-Shaʼbi that Hadrat 'Ali (may Allah be well pleased with him) flogged Shurahah on Thursday and stoned her on Friday, and he said: I flogged her in accordance with the Book of Allah and stoned her in accordance with the Sunnah of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
