حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَسُبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ الدَّهْرَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الدَّهْرُ وَلَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ لِلْعِنَبِ الْكَرْمَ فَإِنَّ الْكَرْمَ هُوَ الرَّجُلُ الْمُسْلِمُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Allah does not seize knowledge by snatching it from people. Rather, He seizes knowledge by taking away the scholars, until when no scholar remains, people take ignorant leaders. They are asked and give rulings without knowledge, so they go astray and lead others astray.'
