حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي جَنَازَةٍ فَكُنْتُ إِذَا مَشَيْتُ سَبَقَنِي فَأُهَرْوِلُ فَإِذَا هَرْوَلْتُ سَبَقْتُهُ فَالْتَفَتُّ إِلَى رَجُلٍ إِلَى جَنْبِي فَقُلْتُ تُطْوَى لَهُ الْأَرْضُ وَخَلِيلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'All of my ummah will be forgiven except those who publicize their sins. Among publicizing is that a man commits an act at night, then in the morning, when Allah has concealed it, he says: O so-and-so, I did such and such last night — even though his Lord had concealed it during the night, he removes Allah's cover from himself in the morning.'
