حَدَّثَنَا رِبْعِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ وَنَحْنُ غِلْمَانٌ تَجِيءُ الْأَعْرَابُ يَقُولُ يَا أَعْرَابِيُّ نَحْنُ نَبِيعُ لَكَ قَالَ دَعُوهُ فَلْيَبِعْ سِلْعَتَهُ فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Allah, Blessed and Most High, said: I have declared war on anyone who shows hostility to a friend of Mine. My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more beloved to Me than what I have made obligatory upon him. My servant continues to draw near to Me with voluntary acts until I love him. When I love him, I become his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. If he asks Me, I give him. If he seeks refuge in Me, I grant him refuge.'
