حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي يَزِيدَ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِحَسَنٍ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحِبُّهُ فَأَحِبَّهُ وَأَحِبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The most beloved fasting to Allah is the fasting of Dawud. He used to fast one day and break his fast the next. The most beloved prayer to Allah is the prayer of Dawud. He used to sleep half the night, stand for a third, and sleep for a sixth.'
