حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ إِذَا انْتَعَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِالْيَمِينِ وَخَلْعِ الْيُسْرَى وَإِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَمْشِ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدٍ لِيُحْفِهِمَا جَمِيعًا أَوْ لِيُنْعِلْهُمَا جَمِيعًا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Every good deed of the son of Adam is multiplied — a good deed receiving ten times its like up to seven hundred times. Allah the Almighty said: Except fasting, for it is for Me, and I shall reward for it. He leaves his food and his desire for My sake. The fasting person has two joys: joy when he breaks his fast and joy when he meets his Lord. The smell of the mouth of a fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the fragrance of musk.'
