حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ يُنَجِّيهِ عَمَلهُ قَالُوا وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي رَبِّي بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَرَحْمَةٍ وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي رَبِّي مِنْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَرَحْمَةٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abi Adi told us, from Ibn Awn, from Muhammad, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "None of you will be saved by his deeds." They said: "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Not even me, unless my Lord envelops me in forgiveness and mercy" - "not even me, unless my Lord envelops me in forgiveness and mercy from Him" - twice or three times.
