حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي بِثَلَاثٍ قَالَ هُشَيْمٌ فَلَا أَدَعُهُنَّ حَتَّى أَمُوتَ بِالْوِتْرِ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ وَصِيَامِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَالْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ.

Hushaym and Isma'il ibn Ibrahim told us, from Yunus, from al-Hasan, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: My close friend advised me with three things - Hushaym said: which I will not abandon until I die: performing witr before sleeping, fasting three days of every month, and taking a ritual bath on Friday.
