حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ مَرَّ بِقَوْمٍ يَتَوَضَّئُونَ فَقَالَ أَسْبِغُوا الْوُضُوءَ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنْ النَّارِ.

Hushaym told us, from Shu'bah, from Muhammad ibn Ziyad, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: He passed by some people performing ablution and said: Perform the ablution thoroughly, for I heard Abu al-Qasim, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Woe to the heels, from the Fire.
