Ya'qub told us: my father told us, from his father, from Humayd ibn Abd al-Rahman: I heard Abdullah ibn Amr say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Among the greatest of major sins is that a man curse his own parents. They said: O Messenger of Allah, how does a man curse his own parents? He said: A man curses another man's father, so the other curses his father in return, and a man curses another man's mother, so the other curses his mother in return.
