الترجمة الإنجليزية
Attab told us: Abdullah told us: Usama ibn Zayd informed us, from Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in the year of the Conquest, while he was in Mecca, saying, "Allah and His Messenger have forbidden the sale of wine, carrion, and swine." It was said, "O Messenger of Allah, what about the fat of carrion? It is used to grease ships and treat leather, and people use it for lighting." He said, "No, it is forbidden." Then he said, "May Allah curse the Jews. When Allah forbade them the fats, they melted them down, then sold them and ate their price."
