Rawh told us: Hammad ibn Salama told us: Qatada informed us, from Abu Thumama al-Thaqafi, from Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "The ties of kinship will be placed on the Day of Resurrection, having a hook like the hook of a spindle, speaking with an eloquent, fluent tongue; it will maintain ties with whoever maintained ties with it, and sever ties with whoever severed ties with it."
