Khalaf ibn al-Walid narrated to us: Ibn Ayyash narrated from Sulayman ibn Sulaym from Amr ibn Shu'ayb from his father from his grandfather who said: Umaymah bint Ruqayqah came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) to pledge allegiance to him upon Islam. He said: "I accept your pledge that you will not associate anything with Allah, you will not steal, you will not commit adultery, you will not kill your child, you will not bring forth a false accusation that you fabricate between your hands and feet, you will not wail in mourning, and you will not display the adornment of the pre-Islamic era of ignorance."
