حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ حَمَلَ عَلَيْنَا السِّلَاحَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا وَلَا رَصَدَ بِطَرِيقٍ وَمَنْ قُتِلَ عَلَى غَيْرِ ذَلِكَ فَهُوَ شِبْهُ الْعَمْدِ وَعَقْلُهُ مُغَلَّظٌ وَلَا يُقْتَلُ صَاحِبُهُ وَهُوَ كَالشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ لِلْحُرْمَةِ وَالْجِوَارِ.

Abd al-Samad narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Rashid narrated to us, Sulayman narrated from Amr ibn Shu'ayb from his father from his grandfather that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever bears arms against us is not one of us, nor is one who lies in ambush on the road. And whoever is killed in a manner other than that, it is quasi-intentional killing, and its blood money is severe, and the perpetrator is not killed. It is like the sacred month in its sanctity and protection."
