حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا حَرِيزٌ حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ الشَّرْعَبِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ ارْحَمُوا تُرْحَمُوا وَاغْفِرُوا يَغْفِرْ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَيْلٌ لِأَقْمَاعِ الْقَوْلِ وَيْلٌ لِلْمُصِرِّينَ الَّذِينَ يُصِرُّونَ عَلَى مَا فَعَلُوا وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا حَرِيزٌ حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us: Ma'mar narrated to us from al-Zuhri from Isa ibn Talhah from Abdullah ibn Amr that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to a man: I have been informed that you fast all day and pray all night. He said: I do that. He said: If you do that, your eyes will become hollow and your body will become exhausted. Indeed your self has a right over you, your family has a right over you. So fast and break your fast, pray and sleep. Fast three days of every month, and that is like fasting the entire time. He said: O Messenger of Allah, I have more strength than that. He said: Then observe the fast of Dawud, peace be upon him: fast one day and break your fast the next.
