Muhammad ibn Fudayl told us, from Asim ibn Kulayb, from Muharib ibn Dithar, who said: I saw Ibn Umar raising his hands every time he bowed and every time he raised his head from bowing. I said to him: What is this? He said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when he stood up after the two rak'ahs, would say the takbir and raise his hands.
